>> Hilah: Hey what’s up dudes! It’s Hilah, welcome to Hilah Cooking. Today I am gonna
show you the world’s easiest stuffed mushroom recipe because there’s only five ingredients
and one of ‘em is chorizo because yesterday was St. Patrick’s day and I may or not be
hung over, but there’s no rest for the wicked, so let’s do it. All right. The first thing
you do is prep our mushrooms. I’ve already taken a little dry towel and wiped ‘em off
just to get a little dirt off of them, and then next we are just gonna kind of like push
on the stem like that to pop that little dude out of there, and we’ll just go and do that
to all of them, and try to get mushrooms that are approximately the same size as each other
so that they can, you know, cook at the same rate and all that stuff, and big fat stems
means probably big, fat little holes to put our yummy filling in, so that’s also a thing
to look for if you can. Okay. And then once your little stems are popped out, I am just
gonna go around with a little serrated grapefruit spoon and kind of scrape out this like ***
looking stuff. We don’t want that in there. It’s just taking up valuable real estate
where we could be shoving chorizo instead. So now I got my little caps all cleaned out.
I don’t normally cover baking sheets and foil because I feel like it’s kind of a
waste of foil, but like I said, I don’t know if I can be bothered cleaning up today,
so all right. Okay, now we’ve got our little stems here, and we’re just gonna go all
crazy train on these little sons of *** and chop up ‘em up real fine. Okay. Cool!
And I’ve got some green onion and some herbs here we wanna chop up. Okay. And then I’ve
got some fresh oregano and cilantro. You could use parsley or any kind of fresh herb because
we want something to kind of like brighten up the chorizo a little bit, so a fresh herb
is gonna be muy excellente. Okay, and then I’ve got a bowl here with a little bit of
chorizo in it, and I’m just gonna mix all this stuff together. I am gonna add a little
bit of parmesan. You could leave this out, you know, it doesn't really need to be there
to like make it bind or anything because the chorizo is gonna bind everything together,
but whatever. Throw in some cheese why don’t ya? If you can’t find chorizo, I bet this
would also be really good with just like a plain old like breakfast sausage, pork sausage
or summn. Okay. I hope we’ve all washed our hands, so we just wanna get this all mixed
up. Okay. Now I am gonna stuff these little caps, and a lot of recipes have you cook the
sausage ahead of time, and then like, and then mix it with some stuff and put it in
there, but you totally can just skip that step and save a dirty pan which is awesome.
All right. These are all filled. I am just gonna put ‘em in the oven for about 20 minutes
until the mushrooms and everything are all cooked, and then it’s done. Okay. Their
done! Hallelujah! I need something to eat. Okay. This can be really, really hot. Mmmmmmmm!
Dude, that’s yummy! Mmmmmm. Yum! Mmmmmm! Yay! I am feeling better. All right. Welll
thank you for watching. I hope you try this delicious stuffed mushroom recipe. If you
have any questions, leave them in the comments, and I will get to as many as I can, and have
a wonderful day! And I’ll see you guys later!
