Naan Recipe Cook in Pan at home
INGREDIENTS:
- All purpose flour (2 cup for 3 naan)
- Yeast 1 tea spoon ful
- Water
- Salt (pinch for taste)
- Regular pan for cooking with lid
In a bowl take little water and put yeast and disolve it and leave for 3 to 4
minutes.
-Put flour in it and a pinch of salt and Knead the dough like regular chapati
dough(do not make it sticky dough )
-Knead dough until it get supple and soft and does not stick the bowl.
- Cover the dough with clear plastic.
-Leave dough bowl a side for 4 to 6 hour(more is better)
- After 6 hour it will rise and volume get double (sorry I used half of it and then
took pic:p)
Take frying pan and a lid to cover it. I use lid of my other cooking pot.(purpose
is to produce heat inside)
Take one portion of dough and make big dough ball
Now either use roller pin or if you are not first time in kitchen so just spread it
with hand.
I prefer to spread it with my hand and make it as big as big naan you want

- Pre heat the pan at maximum heat. -Then put a naan on it.
- Cover with lid for 20 or 30 seconds --remove lid and turn the naan upside
down, to cook it from other side -Cover it again for
few minutes - Remove lid and naan is ready
- take another portion of dough and make another naan:)
