Pigeon pose over blanket. So go ahead and bring your left knee forward, grab your blankets
and move them towards the front of your left knee. Bring your right leg out behind you.
See your left knee is going to be slightly outside your left hip, blanket is going to
be right in front of your knee. You’re going to reach back and take the right inner thigh
up towards the ceiling and we’re going to rest our right toes on the floor. We’re
going to press our fingertips to the floor, inhale, come up, now if you find that if your
hip is lifted too far above the ground, you can take a blanket and put it under that hip
to help support your hips. Inhale and exhale reaching forward and just folding over the
blankets. So you should feel a nice stretch here in front of the right hip, you should
also feel a nice stretch here in the left hip and hold here for a few breaths. If you
want to feel much of a stretch, you want to get a little deeper or you can use reduce
the number blankets that you have or you can come all the way down to the floor. You can
press your hands into the floor, walk your hands back up. Let’s switch to the other
side, bring in the right knee forward, left leg back and the right knee is slightly outside
the right hip and then if you like you can bring a blanket and put it under the right
hip, inhale press your finger tips in the floor and now you fold on to your blankets
or just fold down to the floor. Allow yourself to relieve any tension that you’re hold
in your right hip, let that right hip bone, leg bone drop off to the side and drop down
to the floor. And ready to come out of the pose, inhale, come up, press your hands into
the floor, walk them back towards you and exhale and bring your left leg forward.
