Reclining Pigeon. with reclining pigeon you'll come to your back. Either on the floor or
on a table, near a wall. You're going to start with your knees in towards your chest then
you'll extend on leg towards the wall, keeping the knee bent as you press into the wall.
You're going to press the leg so that the heel meets the wall. The other ankle is going
to come on top of that knee. So we're going to move the knee off to the side and draw
the ankle on top of that knee. As you bring the ankle to the knee make sure the foots
hanging off your knee. You’re going to use the hand to gently press that left hip with
that left knee so that it stretches into the left hip. Remember not to put too much pressure
onto this left knee as you press it away. If you put too much pressure on its going
to hurt the hips so a nice light gentle press. This pose also helps to cleanse the mind,
really clearing your mind and allowing your concentration to be focused. Take about 10
breaths in this pose and then as you slowly release,
you'll take that ankle up off of the knee, drawing the knee back in. Pull the other knee
in and then switch to the other side.
