Vegan Vegetarian Mushroom Gravy Recipe
Hey my Sweet V's It's The Sweetest Vegan here and today on the show we will be making a vegetarian mushroom gravy
to go with our vegan vegetarian thanksgiving dinner.
I am so excited, it is going to taste so good.
so here comes the recipe
So to start this recipe we need to mince the onions and chop the mushrooms
Next in a hot skillet, we are going to melt a quarter cup of vegan butter
or margarine, and then we are going to sauté the onions and mushrooms
until the onions are translucent and everything just looks yummy.
Now that we have everything all sauteed, its time to start the gravy-ing process.
So we are going to add in our flour to soak up all those juices to get it nice and thick
Be sure to turn your heat on low for this part.
And then we are going to add in our vegetable broth to make our gravy gravy
part, and then we are going to add in our seasonings.
soy sauce, sage, black pepper, salt .
Let that simmer for about 10 minutes, keep stirring the mushroom gravy, and you got your gravy
