Hey what's up guys this is david benjamin from healthywildandfree.com,
today I want to talk about the health benefits of vegetable glycerin, if you aren't familiar
with vegetable glycerin it's an amazing glycerin, basically derived from palm or and vegetable
oils, non-gmo vegetable oils.
And it's a very hydrating and moisturizing kind of liquid, and as you can see here it's
a thick liquid, it's almost like the density or the viscosity of olive oil and I first
heard about this from my mom, she randomly ran into someone who said they had beautiful
skin and they had very shiny glowy, shining glowing skin, and she said she used vegetable
glycerin.
So my mom started telling me about vegetable glycerin, she used it, and i've had amazing
results with it after I used it.
The main benefits to vegetable glycerin is that it's hydrating and moisturizing for your
hair and skin. I've lived in Costa Rica for just over 2 weeks now and i've been getting
really tan and i've just been using it on my shoulders to kind of deal with a lot of
sun each day and a little bit of sunburn because I haven't been really using any sunscreen
or sunblock and it's not only helped my skin heal and recover but it's made my shoulders,
the skin on my shoulders and arms extremely soft, i'm talking like smoother than a babies
bottom kind of stuff.
It's absolutely incredible, it works so well, it's very hydrating and moisturizing, the
cool thing about it too is from the now brand company which i'm sure most of you are familiar
with, it's food grade meaning you can use it internally and externally, so I used it
on my hair, on my skin but every once in a while i'll just add a little bit to mew water
stir it up and drink it because it's very hydrating to the cells, so keeping hydrating,
staying hydrated is important for staying healthy, especially if you're in a warm climate,
in costa rica or central or south america, or anywhere where it's warm and humid.
Staying hydrated is that much more important, so add it to your water, use it for moisturizing
your hair and skin, and the cool thing about it too is that it's a natural sweetener, it's
not too sweet, it's not not sweet enough, it's kind of in my opinion it's sort of similar
to stevia or something along those lines, it doesn't really effect blood sugar levels
like other sweeteners do, vegetable glycerin is cheap, this bottle is a pound, 16 pounces
and it was 8 bucks.
So you can use it for hydrating internally and drinks and things like that, but you can
also use it in cocking and baking because it's a natural sweetener because it's a natural
sweetener and it's better than sugar or brown sugar or things like that which effect blood
sugar levels.
I highly recommend it, hydrating, moisturizing, sweetener, anti-microbrial, hydrates, moisturizers,
and helps with skin breakouts and things like that as well.
It's just an amazing all around thing to have on hand, it's, you can use it in so many different
ways so, it's in your cooking, your drinks, or your hair or your skin, vegetable glycerin
is a great all natural moisturizing hydrating liquid as you can see, it's similar to olive
oil.
I'm using it, and I highly recommend it, I can't say enough about it, I literally cannot
say enough about it, my skin on my shoulders and arms are the softest they've ever been,
and I literally credit all of that to vegetable glycerin, so I highly recommend it, and the
now brand is really good because they're food grade and it also say's on the bottle that
their palm or vegetable oil, that the vegetable glycerin is derived from non-gmo sources,
so I would go with now brand because it's the only one I know of on the market that
is non-gmo palm or vegetable oil based vegetable glycerin.
So I will link that up below in the description, this bottle that I have online and I'll link
up below with more information on vegetable glycerin, the health benefits, the applications
and how you can use it as well on the article right below this video, so check out that
article and make sure to subscribe to my channel for future videos.

your experience with vegetable glycerin as well.
