So this is a really nice exercise to do; an exercise that you have to do with another
person but it is a really nice exercise to do with another person. Monique who teaches
a lot of work shops for scoliosis for people who have back pain is going to lead us through
this. I am just going to come to child's pose and bring my big toes together, separate my
knees and I am going to bring my hands forward and bring my elbows forward and bring my hands
to the floor. Just gently kneel onto your partners sacrum giving them a little pressure;
see if that is okay. That's good. Bring you hand along their spine, feel where the spine
is a little bit poking out. Apply a little bit more pressure in there and have them soften
where your hands are. Lead a length of where my hand is, reach the arms a little more forward
and draw your spine in. Just keep walking down your spine, keep lengthening using your
fingers to lengthen their spine. Keep inviting your partner to breath into your hands. Particularly
any spot where the spine is more prominent; same where my hand is. Yes. Just slowly walk
yourself back to their sacrum. Press down with your hands to come off and then let your
partner rest in child's pose for a few more breaths.
