i can give you the tools to make it happen they are the salutation seal, the wheel, and the crane pose
sit comfortably on your mat
often called the easy pose just find a comfortable position
from here draw your hands in to prayer
on the inhale sit-up tall lifting the chest lift through the crown of the head
on the exhale soften the face soften the shoulders
to help focus the eyes you might look at your fingertips
and then simply breathe for a few moments
now how can this pose help you lose weight?
it helps you lose weight because it reduces stress when your body is stressed
there's a tendency for it to hold onto fat we don't want that to happen
so allow yourself a few moments to relax
and you'll feel you'll see the pounds strip off

now, Lea is pretty flexible and strong so she's going to demonstrate wheel pose by
simply releasing the hands drawing in the hands underneath the shoulders
on the inhale here she'll press the hips to the sky
(beautiful) on the exhale soften and now i know this is intense if you can't come into
this pose right now that's ok try it later when we're warm it will feel
more comfortable each inhale she's lengthening the spine on the exhale she's
pressing the hips high again if it gets to be too uncomfortable or you lose your
breath back off
to safely come out of it simply draw the shoulders down
and then lower the back down one vertebrae at a time
and drawing the knees back into the chest will help soften the back
(nice job!)
we'll start squatted down and allow the knees to flare out drawing the hands
to the mat
now her fingers are spread and her elbows are straight
there is a tendency to round the back but the back is flat here
from here simply shift some of the weight forward and check it out i'd like
the knees to be flared on the outside of the arms so you're not resting them on the back of the
triceps
if this is challenging with a little weight forward stay here (that's beautiful )
you will be stronger soon
if you feel comfortable shift the weight forward and try to pick up one foot
from here rotate one foot comes up than bring the other foot up
you can rotate back and forth again allowing this body to acclimate
if you feel strong here shift the weight forward and pick up both feet
now this is tough she's shaking a little bit her body wanting to be stronger each
inhale she still getting long on the exhale she's pressing away
just a few moments here this is weight training with nothing more than space
gravity and desire
all that you need
to keep this body strong
from here slowly bring the toes back down (beautiful job) that's pretty tough
