There's many different ways to come into Warrior II, A Standing Shrink Pose. In this particular
clip we are going to do this with our heels together. So we're going to bring, or sides
of the feet together I should say, little toe to heels together to set it up. Our other
leg steps out wide and you going to turn your toes out to the sides. So they're out to the
outside wall. We're going to reach our inside arms towards each other and our outside arms
away from each other. Inhaling, lengthening up through the crown of the head and exhaling,
sinking bending that front knee. Now you want to make sure that knee tracks right over the
ankle so you might have to move your foot out just a little bit. And you want your knee
back so it tracks over your pinkie toe. At the same time you want your hips squared,
to the front of the room so they're not turn out at the angle. This easy hip opener so
we want to open through our hips. You're pressing into your partner's foot to feel the strength
and the length all down the back leg. And then you're reaching your arm away, lifting
up through the crown of the head and sinking even deeper, looking over that middle finger
and that would be your Trishte or point of concentration. Proud Warrior leads with his
heart, opening his heart and strengthening through the legs.
