Hey my Sweet Vs, it's The Sweetest Vegan here. Today on the show, we will be making vegan stuffed mushrooms with Spinach.
Here we go.
Vegan Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe - Food, Cooking, How to
You want to start this recipe my cleaning off your mushrooms.
I am just using a wet paper towel to wipe off the dirt and taking the stems out. And I am reserving the stems for a later recipe
Then you want to heat up some olive oil over medium heat in a frying pan, and sauté your spinach.
You want the spinach to become wilted, but you want to maintain that bright green color.
Turn off the heat, and add in vegan cream cheese. I have a chive and garlic flavor just to eliminate some steps
and it taste delicious.
Then I am going to add in soy sauce, hot sauce, and of course salt and pepper to taste.
And you want to, with the heat off, give that a good stir until it forms this creamy spinach.
Take a small spoon and fill up your mushrooms.
Bake the mushrooms in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F for about 20 minutes, until the tops of the mushrooms are brown.
And these taste delicious. They came out better than expected. They were creamy. You can taste the mushrooms.
You can taste all the herbs, but it was not over seasoned. And it was not trying too hard.
