Hi this is Chris Knight from www.SevenWellness.com and I'm excited because today
I'm going to show you a few really good exercises on the bosu ball
what we're going to do is push ups today with a few
variations so you can have options
for ... beginner, intermediate and couple advanced that
are really going to help to challenge you. Help tone up your chest,
your shoulders
and those triceps
I know that everybody loves triceps so I'll shut up and
let's get to it
So... grab your bosu ball
we're gonna get right to it
we're gonna flip the bosu over for this exercise
I grip it where it kinda looks like handles to me on this this addition
of the bosu ball
and i just go back
all the way down
with the elbows tucked back to my side
you don't want to 'wing-out'
to the side
and then keep your body nice and flat (plank position)
when you're doing these pushups
you don't want to dip
or peak you want to hold it as flat as possible
doing it with to feed is obviously going to be... intermediate
for the beginner
put your knees down and
for the advanced
lift one foot up
and we'll do push-ups
that way
Now you can always do these push-ups on the ground of course but if you have access
to a bosu ball it's a great tool for adding a little bit of instability
which just helps to amplify the effects of doing a push-up...
just to give you a couple more the variations
we can do the same thing
but with our feet on the ball verses our elbows
and then do our push-ups
this way
one more push-up
I want to show you
actually incorporates a knee tuck
I just like this because it makes it hard... It makes it more challenging anyway so
give it a try if you can do it i'd definitely encourage that you give it a shot
we start in the typical push-up position but as we go down we're gonna bring
one knee up towards
the outside elbow
and this case my left elbow is stationary and my left knee me
is coming up
I would say do
a couple on each inside
and alternate
back-and-forth until you reached your maximum so that might be a total of ten
repetitions
thanks for taking a moment today and letting me show you those push-up positions
those will definitely help!
In the meantime have a great day and if there is ever anything that I can do to assist you please contact me at Chris@SevenWellness.com or
