Hi, it's Adam. In this video, I'm going to give a short Team Treehouse review, I'm going
to talk about how my tech skills have improved, and I'm going to show you guys how you can
get a 30 day free trial from Treehouse. Personally, Treehouse benefited me a lot. Beforehand I
was all over the place with programming, but Treehouse had all the content organized in
a way where it was easy to get a broad view of programming. I think it would benefit beginners
signficantly. Even if you're beginning in a certain subject, you'll benefit a lot. Say
you're already an advanced programmer, the programming course on Treehouse might not
be that good for you. But something like the desing course would be great for you. It's
beginning stuff, but it sets you on the right track for the future. I'm going to show you
an example of what I was doing before Treehouse. I had this vision for a site that provides
a service for authors. It would help them market their books. It's a sight that provides
free ebooks to bloggers, as long as they agree to review that book on their blog. This is
how the site looked before I joined Treehouse. I used a layout, but everything else I did
from scratch with PHP. It didn't work out for me too well. I couldn't figure out how
to connect these forms with something like Constant Contact. And when I showed someone
this, they were like, nice blog. And I wasn't going for a blog, I was going for a service
site. So it didn't look professional enough. So after Treehouse I redid this site and this
is what it looks like. It has a slider, and these circles right here. I think it's a massive
improvement and I'm proud of it. I also used a layout for this, but what Treehouse helped
me with was that it let me know what all the tools are out there, and what tools benefited
me the most. I was coding from scratch beforehand, but Treehouse made me figure out that I'm
more of a Wordpress.org developer. It was just great that Treehouse could help me become
aware of that. So if you're looking to try Treehouse, I would definitely encourage it
because you can try it risk free for 30 days by going through my link, which is fictionblogtours.com/treehousefree.
I'll put a link in the description, and I'll do an annotation. You really have nothing
to lose by trying it for free, you just need a credit card or Paypal account. I also did
a video previously on how you can get it for free, which I'll leave in the description.
I'll include all the links to this site and how my site looked beforehand. Thanks for
listening. Don't forget to thumb up this video and subscribe. Bye.
