Superman vs Batman. Who wins? It's time to find out today, who wins this superhero showdown.
In the gym.
What's up guys? Jeff Cavaliere, ATHLEANX.COM
I mentioned it. Superman vs. Batman. If you haven't already heard. Big movie coming out.
We don't even know if it's Superman and Batman or Superman vs. Batman. We'll leave that for
the comatone guys to figure out.
But what I thought what would be cool today, would be, what if we took the two workout
programs from the two guys that are in these movies. And we put them head to head.
Or better yet, what if we took them and we took the best parts of those workouts and
we combine them to make our own, Superman and Batman Workout.
So let me show you what we did here today. Now you guys know, Superman, Henry Cavill,
obviously got in tremendous shape to play the role.
Ben Affleck, now getting in great shape to play his role as Batman.
We've seen him do it before in The Town. He got in tremendous shape for that movie. He's
using the same workout style.
Ok so he's going to be indicated by the B, Batman. The S is going to be sort of, representing
the Henry Cavill type training.
What you see here, is the total body workout, covering every area, every major muscle group.
Then we have a phrasing, or a way that we're going to put the reps together.
These are going to be run the rack or drop sets. Ok, these run the rack sets, basically
you do 1 to 10 reps.
You increase the weight, you go down to 6 reps. You increase the weight again, you go
down to 4.
Lastly, something called the tailpipe. We won't call them the tailpipe guys. But this
is what the trainer called them that did these with Henry Cavill.
And what he meant by that, was, at the conclusion of that last drop set, you get 8 deep breaths.
In through the nose, out, 8 times. As soon as that 8th breath is done, you go right into
the next exercise.
The two purposes of that. One it teaches your body to perform in a fatigued state. Which
is very athletic and good for us guys at ATHLEANX .
And secondly, it gives us a very defined rest period. When that 8th breath is done, you're
getting them going.
So it's a nice way to keep this momentum going, keep those fast workouts going, like we like
to do with ATHLEANX.
These drop sets get a lot easier, when you have something like the BLOX here That literally
take just seconds to do and you can do them right here at home.
The last 4 are a ***.
X breaths, right, through the nose, out through the mouth.
As I walk over to the battle ax.
Pull in, with the back. Then quickly explode across the body. In.
Half way through, switch to the other side.
In and Out.
That's what happens, when Superman and Batman meet ATHLEANX.
Next up, Dumbbell Lunge Curls, legs and arms together.
Whew. Deep breath, try to get control.
Now, keep going.
Alright, so there you have it guys. Superman, Batman, who wins, who really cares. What matters
is, whether you win. And if you do this workout here guys, and I can tell you will.
This is definitely an ATHLEANX inspired workout. It combines all the elements that we always
preach at ATHLEANX.
Athleticism, ground base training, core in every move, making muscles work together the
way they are meant to.
That all came out here and we were able to borrow from some of the guys that use some
of these athletic techniques to get in the best shape of their lives. And play some of
the most important roles in their career.
If you want to be in the best shape of your life. Then head to ATHLEANX.COM, and get your
90 day training program. Start training like an athlete.
Let me be your strength coach. Let me be your guy, like these guys have, to get you in the
best shape of your life.
Again, ATHLEANX.COM. Meantime, leave a comment below, thumb it up. Who wins, Superman, Batman,
let me know.
Meantime, I'll be back next week with another video.
See you guys.
