OK. Well my name is Don Rhodes; I'm the Chairman of the Civilian Committee.
The function of the civilian committee of course, is...
...it's mandatory in the corps to have a civilian committee...
...you can't have a squadron without one.
And our main function is to support...
...the squadron, not interfere with the military side, but to...
...give the Officer Commanding support, with staffing it and most importantly of all...
...in the fundraising and the welfare of the squadron.
Myself, I was the ... first CO of this squadron in nineteen...
..seventy-two.
And I retired, or had to retire, in nineteen fifty-seven - out of uniform - and I then...
...transferred to the civilian committee;...
...shortly after that, I took over as chairman...
...and I'm still the chairman to date.
And I think I will have completed fifty-two years next... February; next month in the Air Cadet Organisation.
Right, my name's Robert Parry, I'm the squadron treasurer.
And I've been on the civilian committee since... nineteen eighty-nine.
I think I've been the treasurer for the last, two years.
So, my job is too, is too look after the squadron finances and tell the civilian committee basically, how much money they can't spend.
And that's my particular role.
Hi, my name's David Hobbs.
I joined the civilian committee in, I think, in about two-thousand and twelve.
Three of my children came to the cadets and just a way of supporting the cadets, in any small way that I can.
Hi, I'm Dave Eccleston.
Joined the civilian committee about eighteen months ago.
Just here to offer my support... and anyway possible to support the cadets and make sure everything keeps flowing well.
Hello, my name is Mary Pepler, I've been attached to the committee since two-thousand and one.
And I enjoy working along side my fellow committee members.
My name's Barrie Cook. Part of the civilian committee.
I joined the committee in May two-thousand and eleven.
Hello, I'm Georgina Cook. I joined the committee - along with my husband - in two-thousand and eleven.
My son's in the cadets and we were really impressed by the work the staff did...
...so we just wanted to give them our support.
My name's Michael Underwood. I...
...joined the committee in the middle of last year - so extremely, recent member.
However, more than half a century ago, I was a member of the forerunner of this squadron
Which was treble two four, Albrighton squadron.
And thrilled to be back and I hope I can contribute, just as a tiny measure, towards the success of what is a fantastic squadron.
Hello, my name's Eamonn Hall. I've been on the civilian committee for about eighteen months.
I joined because my son had joined the squadron and I just wanted to help and assist the staff, in anyway I could really, with the job that they do.
