From the very beginning, I saw him, and it's not nice seeing someone who's dying.
And then the question is what do you say; what do you say to someone who's dying,
and I've met quite a number of people who die.
I want him to know God, because God is the only hope, because He's the only power that
can actually raise you from the dead.
I wanted him to have peace, and so I talked about how I was angry at God, and didn't
make sense, and he saw my YouTube video and was just so inspired, and the family was really
touched so we went to the house.
We took time to go see him, and he said he couldn't believe I was there at the house,
and that I was a huge inspiration to him.
And I said no, you're an inspiration to me.
I said I don't know what I would have done in your shoes, in your position.
I said the fact that you're still here and you're fighting so hard to continue on,
you're my hero, I said.
And he teared up and he hugged me, and I looked him in the eye, and I said do you know God?
I said do you know you're going to go to heaven if you believe in him.
He was silent for quite a lot. I just started talking to him.
I said, you know, it's not God punishing you, it's not that he can't heal you.
I'm sure you have many people pray for you, but I want to pray for you. I want to pray
that God heals you totally, because I've seen miracles; I've seen blind people see,
deaf people hear, lame people walking.
And he said yeah, sure, please pray.
I said but look, He may not heal you, but what you need to know is if you do go, you're
going home, you're going to heaven, man.
No more tears, no more pain, no more sickness, no more disease, no more cancer.
Your whole family, you know, if they believe in God, they can be there.
He was really, really really weak that night. I prayed for him, I explained the gospel to
him, you know.
Face to face, as well, I said I believe all things happen for a reason, and I believe
God has a plan for you, and I believe that you're going to be able to touch people's lives
I just said, what do you want to share with the world?
He said, what do you mean?
I said if you had every camera in the world looking at you right now, what would you tell them?
And he was silent for a solid 60 seconds.
And he said let me think about that. I want to come back to you -- and he wasn't a
Christian yet, at that time.
He wanted to make it for graduation, and so I specifically prayed, Lord, just please give
us mercy and grace and strength to get to the graduation.
And by the grace of God, he did.
Left, give love to Christ.
And we tried six times; I was in Hong Kong, China to connect, and I got him on the phone
three of the six times. But then as soon as he got on the phone, he was just too weak
to talk. And he didn't want to do it through his dad, cause his dad could hear him better
than me.
And so he said no, let's just wait, let's just wait, let's just wait.
On that phone conversation, if you could only do yes or nos, I wanted to ask him questions.
I said did you give your life to God? Do you believe in God? Do you believe He is, you
know, your savior and God's got a plan for you?
He said yeah, I'm cool, whatever God wants. I'm not angry at God.
So that's what happened. And then, he was in hospital those times, then he came out,
and he said, I know now what to say to the world.
And I said, what is it?
And he said, he said people got to realize that they need to leave a mark of history in
people's lives.
He said just do something, that's what he said to people, just do something to leave
a mark of history in someone else's life.
That you would be remembered, that you would be remembered.
He said that three times.
I said well, Keaton, is that it?
He said yeah.
I said that they may know who God is.
He said absolutely.
And I said, well, if that's what you wanted to tell the world, I just want you to know
you lived that. You lived it.
And he did it.
And I said now that you've told me that, and you've done your graduation,
are you ready to go?
He said I'm ready to go.
I said, then I'm going to pray that you go.
That was my last conversation with him.
I'm going to pray that you go, and we'll trust God to do the rest.
He said go on. So we prayed. He was crying, and he thanked me, and then he texted me,
thanking me again.
And that was it.
Then he went home.
