We're going to minced up really small pieces of 3 cloves of garlic to help our stir fry
get some kick garlic is a great vegetable cause it got lots of really really powerful
flavored which has been shown to fight cancer so it not only makes your food taste great
but it's really really helpful for your heart. To minced a clove of garlic you want to separate
it from the rest of the head keep on a little bit of the skin and with the flat side of
nice knife you want to crush it down flat. And you'll take away the skins on there, cut
of the extra fibers ends and then I found a little bit of salt helps create some extra
friction and surface area to help you get the garlic into really really nice small pieces,
cause no one want to bit into a huge hunk of garlic while your eating. I use regular
garlic from a grower here in Los Angeles but I also used in this dish purple garlic which
adds a really really rich flavor to the stir fry. You can certainly buy any old garlic
that you find in the grocery store, so we're going to get our 3 heads of garlic chopped
up nice and finely, and all those will go into our pan with just a little bit of non
stick cooking spray to start saute our vegetable in our tofu.
