I'm JEO and this is my Bipolarity
For me to describe JEO is really easy because
JEO is like an imaginary friend that ends up taking over your life.
I created her when I was little.
I remember that in elementary school,
I started to gather my classmates and create my own shows.
And even one of my choreographers came out from there,
from those little shows; as many other professional dancers.
I was raised around music.
My father is a music collector
and there was a specific room for his big collection.
I think he has around 20,000 LP records by now.
And from there on, my dreams started.
... since then, I'm creating this imaginary friend
that follows me everyday.
She followed me through high school
and kept doing school shows,
dancing, singing and acting with me.
When I finished high school, I decided to study acting,
even though my parents,
specially my mom; weren't very thrilled about it
because they were concerned that
the entertainment business is a very difficult way of living.
And I know that is true.
But when you don't see yourself doing anything else
or you don't see yourself happy in any other job,
you have to do what you have to do.
So at the end, they supported me
and I was accepted to the Drama Department in the University of Puerto Rico.
While doing my Bachelor Degree,
I was part of the Dance Team
and the Program of Musical Theater, called Teatro Lírico;
where I was able to do dancing,
singing and acting; all at the same time.
Cynthia Olavarria -Everybody knows that when JEO performs,
nothing is the same.
I invite everybody to be part of my talented friend, JEO's Tribe.
Tú Quieres?
Kevin Aponte - This message is for JEO music...
the best music there is.
I love what she has.
I wish her many success and... you go, girl!
Kisses!
When I finished school,
I created a music group with some friends
and we kept singing for a while.
We passed through a lot of producers.
I never gave up, but at some point,
I said to myself: "I'm gonna put music to the side
and focus on my career as an actress'.
And then, I moved to Miami.
I've been writing songs since I was little.
My dad gave me my first notebook to write songs when i was 10 years old,
and since then, I've been doing it.
I create stories in my songs.
That's the best, and my favorite, way to do it.
But once I finish a song, my imagination
keeps on going more than 3 minutes...
so that's why I started to write scripts and I started to do music videos.
I even wrote a script for a full length film.
I've done music videos for Chino & Nacho,
Rakim & Ken Y,
Tony Dize,
Juancho,
Farruko, Plan B, among others.
Juan Luis 'Juancho" -My people, this is Juancho
and I'm inviting you to follow the Tribe...
JEO... Follow The Mask.
This is Juancho and JEO comes breaking the rules!
Julián Gil - I want to tell everybody that I support and follow JEO's Tribe.
I hope that you do too.
She is a great friend, hard worker and puertorrican.
So you have to follow the Tribe!
Joseguillermo - I love JEO's music.
It gives you a lot of energy,
its good for dancing, to do exercise,
for when you feel bad, for everything.
I have it in the car, in my phone, in the iPod, everywhere.
JEO -The thing is that The Mask is what represents the music.
Without the mask I'm a normal person
with a lot of stories that eventually everybody will know.
But all of them have to do with the entertainment business.
This is my outlet for music.
With The Mask, I belong to music.
Host - When can we see you without The Mask?Tonight?
JEO -No, never.
Melissa Marty - Perfect for dancing... Perfect to have a good time.
JEO is a real music movement.
I am part of the Tribe.
What about you? Do you dare?
I can say that JEO took over me.
Through The Mask I belong to music.
Because through The Mask, is how I go on stage,
dance, sing, do a performance and I use all of my creativity.
When I started the production "Bipolar" we always said
that "Tú Quieres" had to be the first single.
Artists tend to be very bipolar
and alI of my life I've been surrounded by that.
That's why JEO exists.
To demonstrate that creativity and art's greatness,
do not have limits.
The Tribe can follow and friend me at...
