We're going to work on a restorative twist for your spine, Upavistha Parivrtta, so it's
twisted seated pose. We're going to start ourself off in Vadrasana, thunderbolt pose,
and you're just going to swing your legs off to the right, so that you're sitting down,
and be comfortable. You're going to have your bolster to your left hip, and you want to
support your bolster for your spine. For your abdomen, you're going to support, but you're
going to rest here, still looking to the right. Now it takes a moment or two for the body
to settle in, for your lower back to settle in. Let the shoulders rest in and when that
all occurs; you can finish the pose by twisting, and looking back. Even though this is a resting
pose, and it gets a lot of relief for your lower back, it's a great spinal twist, which
helps the body with digestion, elimination, detoxing, breathe and enjoy.
