Today, I would like to explain to you the different facets of the process of silver halyde
just to show you where how to go from a digital image to a final baryta paper.
The first step is calibration.
There are two basic steps inside calibration.
The first step is to find your time exposure
- the time that you need to create your black in your baryta paper.
The second step is using this exposure time using a resource that you can find on the Internet.
So using this file you open a chart that lets you know
what quantity of ink you need to put on the negative to have a white.
Having your exposure time and having the quantity of ink
that you would need to create your white on the negative,
then the only thing that you need to do is to use editing software,
open your image, tweet the image and just print it.
After printing your image on the HP printer,
you can go to the dark room and create you analog copy.
