okay
because i'd fear sounding way to wonky
in this video
i went ahead and i compiled a list
that you can see over my left shoulder
i think i think it's my left shoulder but it might be my right shoulder
are
i compile lists in the about this video section
that is going to show specifically what i'm talking about and i'm not going to
give long rants about because i won't bore you guys to tears
well let me just say that there are certain things
in politics
that it's very easy
for both liberals and conservatives to agree on the only people who don't seem
to get it
by the people representing us in washington
so this is cutting the deficit for dummies
make pork barrel spending illegal that would save us twenty billion dollars the
year for those of you who don't know
pork barrel spending is
things attached to major bills usually
that by
all the votes of politicians
things like
distributing in the louisiana funding that
funding the alaska state fair
putting christian broadcasting stations in madagascar don't ask me how that go
on a bill
but usually it stays that way outside
of what the government should be doing
that make it into a bill
to buy somebody's book for the meat and potatoes of the bill
so if you make out legal is twenty billion dollars save right away
then the all no-bid contracts no-bid contracts
all win the government said a to a certain company our corporation
we're going to give you government money
then you're going to do this task for us
now the reason why no-bid contracts are so bad
is because it's the most wasteful innovation way
to contract out
usually have to do with nepotism it's *** cheney same daliberti
are used to work for you and i have friends over there so you got to get
this contract
for the most
grossly overpriced value that we're going to get it to you for
are that would save us forty billion dollars
eliminate medicare part d
for those of you who don't know medicare part d
was passed under george w_ bush
and basically what it once is a large subsidy
to the pharmaceutical industry
and to be health insurance industry
which was supposed to provide
supplemental coverage
for old people
in other words if they felt like their regular medicare wasn't doing well
enough
they can use
medicare part d they can buy into that system
in reality what it was is forty billion dollars down the drain
close all shore tax havens
if that's not the most common sense things in the world i don't know what is
that would save us four hundred billion dollars a year
a majority of the people who use all chart accidents for people who are rich
in the first place and i'm just trying to
avoided
being taxed on their fourteenth home
all right
in the drug war
that would save us fourteen billion dollars now before everybody
says all
kyle so pro drug use let me just say real fast item
but apart from that
every single study
that has come out
has shown that since the drug war has been implemented
the drug usage rates had stayed about the same
or actually increased slightly
and on top of that
there is one to invite list
on the mexican border
and in texas and mexico
because
the wars being fought in a gruesome factions will pick up that we say
fourteen billion dollars
and we in
it's mostly all
cut eight billion dollars off of nasa
now i understand it's an important thing to go to the moon
and two
try to go to mars
but what we're about to go broke maybe we can make an exception or two
eliminate subsidies for oil and gas companies that would save us forty
billion dollars a year
that's corporate welfare i know about the republicans he welfare so i'm sure
they'll be against this
uh...
they texted repeated taxpayers the wall street bailout this ten billion dollars
right there they're actually debating and congress now
of retroactive off hundred-percent tax
on wall street bonuses
uh...
this was a bust plunger and forty-five
billion dollars
these are places money
corporations dot or people that corporations got
when most people responsible for running the corporation into the ground
they were awarded for that with all our money
not fair i agree must take it back okay
reform the health care system
copying
the best system in the world on sorry i don't like conservatives are going to be
time saying this
but this is a conjectures isn't opinion
this isn't giving my ten sense this is just a fact
at least according to the studies and scientists in the experts you know if
you believe those ***
all
the world health organization for one
france's health care system is by far more efficient than ours is
covers more people and we would save
nine hundred billion dollars a year
if we
switched to their systems copied their system okay
at the last one
probably the most
politically impossible
to successfully do because
you would come across as looking like a little ***
he's cutting the military budget
currently we spend
six hundred seven billion dollars every year
on military spending that's worked on the government gives to the pentagon
now and then the rest place
expands the closest announced to us in the world
he's a russia and they're spending eighty nine billion a year
six hundred seven billion
verses eighty nine billion
why don't we just go ahead and and cut five hundred seven billion off of all
rich
which of course would require us getting out of all of these countries that we've
been sitting in for
forty fifty years countries like japan and germany we have bases everywhere
it's unnecessary we have an empire right now we might as well dismantling warmer
ahead to save some money
so we have
five hundred seven billion dollar saved we had a hundred billion dollar
budget which is still
fifteen billion dollars more then the nearest competitor which is russia
uh... and with all the listings added up together
you're a for this the c_b_o_ estimates that our deficit in two thousand nine is
going to be between six point seven trillion
i'm sorry one point six seven trillion
and one point three five trillion
what with all of savings which we just want to right now
that would be a total savings
of one point he
trillion dollars
which means
in an hour's worth of research and some common sense
we went ahead and balance the budget
