Now we will do Hand To Big Toe Pose with the right leg. So, starting in Mountain Pose,
feet forward, ankles lifted energetically, soften knees, engage the quads, engage the
abs, lift the torso, breath and crown of the head towards the sky. This is a great pose
for balance. You can also use a wall for balance or a chair if this is too difficult. Getting
rooted and balance onto our left foot, shifting the weight into that foot, bringing the right
knee up, right leg up, taking your index and middle finger, wrapping it around your big
toe and extending that leg out. Requires deep concentration, hands on the hips, open the
chest, relax the shoulders, chin parallel to the earth. Feeling the strength building
within all the muscles of your legs. Breath. And doing this pose for however long feels
comfortable, relax the legs down, back into Mountain.
