Vegan Zucchini Fritters Recipe - Fried
Hey my Sweet Vs, it's The Sweetest Vegan here. Today on the show, I was in the mood for something fried and I had a zucchini
I didn't want to just fry the zucchini, I wanted to make something like a pancake, so I am making zucchini fritters.
Are you ready? They are really good. Here we go.
Vegan Zucchini Fritters Recipe - Fried
We are going to start this recipe by grating one zucchini. I'm just going to grate it all the way down. Be careful
not to cut your knuckles or your finger tips, so leave a little at the end just to be safe. Then I am going to spread it out
over a plate and sprinkle it with kosher salt. That is in order to draw out some of the water. Now I didn't have enough water to
drain off like I thought I would, but just having that excess water and that sort of tacky liquid that comes
out of the zucchini skin, help me to replace the egg in this recipe so that was really helpful. To a bowl,
we are going to add in all purpose flour, one clove of garlic that has been minced, as well as some no salt seasoning,
or sodium free seasoning blend, because we already have the salt. You can use a regular seasoning salt, but I just decided to
make it a little but healthier since we are frying it anyway. Stir all of your dry ingredients together,
then add in your zucchini. Stir your zucchini into the flour, make sure everything is evenly moistened.
And, it will come together to form a ball. I am using my hands to help form the fritters, one by one. I am going to
sit them each out onto a plate so that I can have them already before I put them into the oil.
I decided to put them all into the oil at the same time so that they all can be done at the same time.
I'm going to heat up canola oil over medium high heat. You want about a 1/2 inch of oil in the bottom of the pan,
and once it is hot. Drop your fritters. Not drop them literally, that would cause a nasty splash. Put your fritters in.
After about 3-5 minutes, your fritters should be done on the first side. You'll know that they are done, because they are a
golden brown, flip them over, and let them become a golden brown on the other delightful side.
These things are just like magic. Once they are done on both sides, take them out of the frying pan and
transfer them to a plate that has been covered with a paper towel. This will absorb any access grease.

It's really moist. It is really like a custard, it's indescribable. It is really delicious, though. I really liked this recipe.
