HERE ON THE LOCAL SHOW, WE'RE HERE WITH A TOTALLY GLUTEN AND DAIRY FREE HOLIDAY REPEE FROM

THAT LITTLE BIT OF NUTTY FLAVOR ADDED IN. YOU START WITH VEGAN BUTTERY
STICKS, AND THESE ARE GREAT IN ANY TYPE OF BAKING, AND WE'RE GOING TO JUST USE ONE STICK,
WHICH IS ACTUALLY 8 TABLESPOONS, AND THAT'S GOING TO GO INTO OUR MIXING BOWL.
THEN WE'RE GOING TO ADD ONE EGG. NOW WE'RE GOING TO ADD THE SUGAR.
I USE THREE-40s -- THREE-FOURTHS CUP REGULAR SUGAR AND ADD IN THE TURBINADO SUGAR.
IT'S LESS PROCESSED. THEN WE ADD ONE AND ONE AND A HALF TEASPOON OF VANILLA.
WHAT WE WANT TO DO IS GO AHEAD AND CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER ALTERNATIVE, THE SUGARS AND THE
EGG. WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT'S WELL BLENDED, AND THEN WE'RE
GOING TO ADD IN A HALF CUP OF SOUR CREAM. NOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO IS
START PUTTING TOGETHER OUR DRY INGREDIENTS. WE'RE GOING TO START WITH
ALMOND -- ONE CUP OFAL -- OF ALMOND FLOUR, ONE CUP OF SWEET WHITE SORGUM FLOUR AND THEN
WE'LL USE ONE AND ONE AND A HALF CUP OF BROWN RICE FLOUR. NOW WE'RE GOING TO ADD ONE
TEASPOON BAKING SODA AND A HALF TEASPOON SALT. THEN WE'RE GOING TO ADD IN THE
FLAVOR BURST FOR THIS WONDERFUL HOLIDAY COOKIE, ONE TEASPOON OF NUT MEG.
WE'RE GOING TO ADJUST A DASH OF CINNAMON, OKAY A GENEROUS DASH. SO LET'S STIR OUR DRY
INGREDIENTS ONE MORE TIME TO MAKE SURE WE'VE GOT A NICE MIXTURE GOING.
AND THEN WE ARE GOING TO SLOWLY MIX THIS IN. TURN YOUR MIXER ON STIR.
YOU'LL SEE THAT IT'S STARTING TO FORM A BALL ON
ITS OWN, AND THAT'S WHEN YOU WANT TO STOP THE
MIXER. THEN WE'RE GOING TO WRAP THE BALL IN A SMALL PIECE OF
PARCHMENT PAPER. AND WE'RE GOING TO PUT THAT INTO THE REFRIGERATOR JUST FOR ABOUT

DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF SOUR CREAM THAT YOU USE, YOU WILL WANT TO ADJUST ACCORDINGLY.

GLUTEN-FREE FLOUR, BUT YOU'RE ALSO DEALING WITH THREE DIFFERENT ALTERNATIVE DAIRY-FREE
