A lying hamstring stretch assisted by your partner is a really great way to wind down
your practice to be prepared to come into your final resting pose. So we're going to
do that with Willie today. He's going to bring his knee into his chest. Good. Now I'm going
to come over and position my knee right close to him with his foot. Actually we're going
to extend his foot up this time, right up to my shoulder. And I'm going to bring my
knee forward so I can just use my weight of my body to press back and forth and give him
a hamstring stretch. We're going to inhale, lengthen up through his leg and then exhale,
I'm just going to lean forward. And if your hamstrings are tight you might find you need
to bend your knee. So this should feel really good. Watch your partner's breath, he's going
to inhale in. You're going to let up a little bit on the inhale and then as you exhale,
that's when you come forward. Good. Inhaling in and exhaling, make sure you use your breath
and relax through the stretch. Getting a really good hamstring stretch there. Good. And then
we would come to the other side.
