There's a popular conception that there's the samurai and then there's the ninja. But
in actual fact, many times, samurai were also ninja, or they trained in Ninjutsu techniques,
or had an understanding of ninja tactics. So they could fight them, or also use their
strategies as well. And vice versa is the same for ninja, and their study of budo and
samurai culture and martial arts. And many times samurai were ninja, and ninja were samurai.
And so while there is sort of that black and white distinction, there is a lot of overlap
and a lot of grey area as well, when it relates to samurai versus ninja.
