Breakfast is a very important part of a healthy diet. You always want to make sure you start
your day with a very healthy breakfast. Today we’re gong to make 2 different recipes that
are both very healthy, great choices for breakfast. The first one we’re going to make is a breakfast
wrap. So what we’re going to do is we have a whole grain tortilla. Now you want to read
the labels on the tortillas. This one has 100 calories and 5 grams of fiber which is
a great choice. Ok, we’re going to have egg substitute in there, a little bit of low
fat cheese, black beans and salsa. So we’re going to start by scrambling up these egg
whites. So I have a pan going over here, I have some cooking spray in there, in this
non-stick pan. We’re going to put that at about medium heat and pour this egg substitute
in here. Now you can use egg beaters, you can use egg whites, whatever you like. And
we’re going to scramble this up. Ok, it looks like our eggs are all done. We’re
going to bring this over here and assemble our wrap. So we’re going to start with the
salsa here and we’re going to spread the salsa evenly on the tortilla. Ok, like so.
And we’re going to top that with the scrambled egg substitute. We’re going to top that
with the cheese. And as the cheese goes right on these eggs it will melt which is good.
Ok, and then we’re going to top that with some black beans. So this is a great, healthy
choice for breakfast and it actually has 260 calories. It has 4 grams of fat and it has
10 grams of fiber. So you’re getting that great fiber from the healthy wrap and from
these black beans. So a great start to your dat. Ok, and then what you’re going to do
is you’re going to take and you’re going to roll this wrap, kind of fold it like so.
And if you place it this way then its going to stay together. And there you go.
