DALE: I do my searches looking for price, value, location,
options, all of those.
JOHN: I'll go to Edmunds, get the value of the car.
I use that to negotiate with the dealer.
CHRIS: I actually go to the manufacturer's site.
I go to consumer kinds of sites that can comment on the
performance of the cars.
And I decide on the make and model that I want.
And once I find that, I then go to car dealerships and
physically drive that model.
LINDA: When I'm looking for a car, I will go to a site that
compares all of the manufacturers, rather than
going to a certain manufacturer's site.
Well, I like to see comparative prices because you
want to get the best bargain for your money.
LISA: I look for a good value.
STEVE: I've actually purchased or sold six cars online.
I have in the past looked through something that Chrome
offers through DealerTrack.
And that's a pretty neat system, that basically you put
in what your needs are and it will pop up the best vehicles
and the price points for that.
It's pretty awesome.
TREVOR: I do a search on Google to start
with used car prices.
And then I look specifically for Chevy Impalas.
I've had a Chevy before.
It was a very reliable vehicle.
And it comes from a reliable dealership.
LYNN: When I'm researching a vehicle to buy, I would have
one brand in mind based on a recommendation.
CHRIS: I've had a ton of instances where I've bought
cars, and I've had no idea that was the car I
was going to buy.
And my research actually serves to help
me refine my choices.
