Hey I’m smallkiwi and this is how you play Necrolyte.
Necrolyte is an intelligence based ranged hero. His Q is a short range AoE that damages
enemies and heals Necrolyte and his allies. His W is a passive AoE that deals constant
damage to enemies and his E is a passive that grants health and mana regen on kills. His
ultimate is a stun followed by a variable damage nuke.
Necrolyte’s primary ability is his Q which he can use during fights and on creep waves
to effectively feed his passive E. Remember to use the ability often to heal yourself
and allies and damage enemies. It can be invaluable when pushing for both the damage and healing
effects which can keep your own creep wave at high health.
Necrolytes passive W can be used early game to effectively zone enemies by constantly
weakening them. His E grants the most regeneration from hero kills, but he can stack out a significant
amount of regeneration killing creeps. Don’t forget you can feed this ability by denying
your own creeps as well.
Necrolyte’s ultimate does more damage to enemies the less health they have, so try
to use it against weak opponents. This ability stuns before it deals damage, use this time
to deal additional damage with Q and autoattacks.
Max out Necrolyte’s Q first, and put a point into W at level 1 or 2 and a point in E at
level 4. Prioritize R over Q over E over W.
For starting items take tangoes and a salve plus 3 iron branches and a mantle. The core
of necrolyte’s build are a wand, power treads and a mekansm and if you can get fed early
on an aghanims scepter will help you snowball early game, otherwise skip it and focus on
getting a bloodstone. Other great items for necrolyte include a force staff, dagon, scythe
of vyse, necronomicon or heart of tarrasque.
