Hello everyone. So today we're taking a look at a brand new 9.7in tablet.
This is from a company called Prestigio and
they produce what you call a third on third.
So it's not from a major main manufacturer like a Samsung or something like that
but because they're able to use components from quite a few different manufacturers to build their
tablets the price is generally lower than competing items at the same kind of
screen size and spec.
This one
is a very interesting piece of kit due to the coretex A9 and separate quad core GPU
so I'm expecting some good things from this tablet but for this unboxing video let's have a look
at what's in the box.
So first off I need to actually get into it.
I'm going to try and not have to use my teeth
but then...
Oh wow!
Hey that's interesting.
That's the first time I've ever received a tablet
and it's come with a case in the box.
I mean, that is just fantastic so before we get into that let's have a look at what we've got in here.
So we've got
Power brick
various different types of adapters, US, UK
in there.
So multi tapping for most of the world.
A
USB to go cable by the looks of it
we'll have to check that out but that does look to me like a USB to go cable so
effectively you can plug this USB cable into the bottom of the tablet and you'd then be able to
plug in things like memory sticks or anything else you like.
That's really good.
And the obligatory micro USB cable. Hooray! So, the tablet.
Oh, and, a Prestigio manual.
In every language under the sun.
By the looks of it. Anything else in here? No, just some cardboard bits. Let's get that out of the way.
I just love that.
Sending a case with it as well as part of the box
that's really really good
and actually first impression is that Velcro is actually good as well. So, let's have a look.
It's certainly got a lot of ports.
I would say
not the lightest
but has a decent solid weight feel to it.
Doesn't feel too flimsy and
no excessive movement either in the case. So
this is our first look at the hardware
she's very thin.
Maybe not the thinnest tablet available on the market
but it's all down to price performance ratio.
I would say that is very nicely made actually.
So it's not a uni body construction. You've got this backplate here
then the rim round the outside and then the screen
but it does feel very very solid.
Very nice. We'll be back very shortly with a full review having put this through its
paces, when we've got some games on here and done all of the usual stress testing and
we'll bring you a full review and our impressions of the
Prestigio MultiPad 9.7 Ultra Duo.
