Terri: It's all about the progression. We knew that when your knee is stronger, when
you have more strength, you don't worry about ... this is a baseline. It's nothing more
than that. You're not comparing yourself to anybody else. In two weeks if you continue
this, in two weeks banded up, "Okay, I can only go here but now I can go here." Even
if it's that much you know that you've progressed. Sue: You know, I can't go down very far at
all. Speaker 3: Yeah, most people ...
Terri: As long as you're feeling it, then you're doing what you need to do.
Speaker 3: I feel it in the muscle around here.
Speaker 4: I am too. Yeah, I'm feeling it. Sue: Don't overdo it.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. I don't know what overdoing it is at this stage.
Speaker 5: That will engage your abs, is that what you're trying to do?
Sue: Yes, yeah, that's it. Speaker 4: I don't think I can do that one
at home. She said don't do it at home. Speaker 3: Yeah, [inaudible 0:00:46]. Maybe
later you'll ... Speaker 6: Make sure you incorporate that
core a little bit too. Sue: Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out how
I could go dip ... you know what I'm trying to do.
Terri: Yeah, but what about like an in out? Oh, yeah. Oh! Wow! Can you walk?
Speaker 5: No matter what you put out, abs gets the most use.
Speaker 6: Do half moons, half moons, yeah. Put your hands underneath your back.
Terri: Do them up against the wall and you have to go straight down and straight up.
Speaker 6: Now, put both legs, keep them at six inches like that, raise one up straight
up and then down. Straight up and then down. Like I said, it adds a new dynamic to everything
you do. Speaker 7: It's basically [inaudible 0:01:44]
here, a lot of people may comment on it, "They'll even tell me on YouTube there's no way you
can put those bands at your knees and engage your abs." I say, "Put them on."
Terri: Do this one. I did this one the other day and I felt it two days later, I was not
... Sue: Oh!
Speaker 6: Scissors huh? Sue: I could barely do that without the band.
Terri: Of course, the lower you are the more your abs are in. Plus you can do it [inaudible
0:02:12], yeah. You have to engage. You know you have to engage to keep them off the floor.
Bending to keep your ... I get a whole bunch of workout with a little bit.
Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely. Sue, wouldn't it be fun to get like a bunch of trainers
together and just have a little try of events, yeah, yeah, yeah. [inaudible 0:02:30]
Sue: When I used to [inaudible 0:02:34] I actually train the trainers. My job was to
teach the guys how to work girls out because they didn't know how to do girl stuff. The
main thing is so they wouldn't just give a bunch of guy stuff.
Speaker 6: It goes back to what I was saying. If I'm telling a woman to do something, it's
like you don't understand. Sue: My time it was so [inaudible 0:02:57].
I was paid to let them work me out and then I got to work them out. When I first came
here I did do that with some of the trainers and my goal was to keep doing that and then
just things get so busy. Terri: You've got your clients, and you've
got class and you've got ... Sue: I've got a lot going on.
Speaker 6: Yep, now where are you feeling that at?
Speaker 3: Mostly here. Speaker 6: Right there in your lower abs?
