Hey guys! This is Game On, I'm Grace and I'm going to be bringing you the gaming news of
the day.
First up Activision has confirmed that a new Tony Hawk game is currently in development
after four years off the radar. Hawk made the announcement himself on US radio yesterday
while reminicising about the Pro Skater series but publishers Activision, responsible for
more than a dozen previous Tony Hawk titles has officially confirmed it. So something's
definitely in the works and we'll have to wait for more info that is promised to be
coming soon! Were you a fan of Tony Hawk games? Let us know in the comments.
Next up, Super Smash Bros. has got a new fighter in the ranks and its Diddy Kong. He'll be
joining the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Title on Wii U and 3DS due to come sometime later
this year although a release date is yet to be confirmed. Diddy enters the battle with
other popular players such as Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Zelda and Princess Rosalina.
Triple princess action also comes alongside a new Mario Galaxy stage that will bring in
brand-new tactics with gravitational pulls. Pretty cool!
And finally if you're looking to get your hands on a PlayStation 4 apparently its not
going to be easy until at least April according to Sony exec Fergal Gara. If you're looking
to get hold of one readily available in stores there's not a free supply until at least around
Spring time. The PS4 has already sold more than 5.3 million systems worldwide so far
and with the launch of the console in Japan happening tomorrow, this number will of course
continue to grow.
