In this video, I'll show you the easiest way to get informed when your favorite tweaks
have been updated for iOS 7. As many of you know, the jailbreak for iOS 7 came out a couple
of weeks ago, and most of our favorite tweaks have not been updated to be compatible with
iOS 7. We can choose to go to the different websites and forums to ask around and wait
for responses, but that takes time and may even get ignored because let's face it, thousands
of other jailbreakers have the same questions as you do. The first thing you do is to run
Cydia, then go to search to find the tweaks that you would like to get updates on. In
my case, I'll look for Cyntact. If the tweak is already compatible with your device, you
can simply install it and you'll automatically be informed of updates whenever you run Cydia.
But you'll notice that in my case, I'm getting a warning in yellow text that Cyntact is not
compatible with my iOS. So instead of installing it and risking making my device unstable,
I go to Change Package Settings and enable Show All Changes. This way, if Cyntact is
updated in the future, I will be informed under the Changes tab. This happens even if
the tweak is not installed. You do the same thing for all the tweaks that you would like
to get updates on. FolderEnhancer is another tweak that as of this moment, has not been
updated for iOS 7, so I enable Show All Changes so I can get informed when it has updates
in the future. If you know of a better way of getting updates or would like to leave
comments, feel free to leave it below and don't forget to subscribe.
