Versatile, ultra-low electrical noise, high resolution and hands free.
The Scientifica IVM, in vivo, micromanipulators, are designed for demanding electrophysiology
and microinjection procedures.
Move away from "hands on" manual systems to remote, precision, pipette control and placement.
Deep, 70 mm, repeatable positioning into in vivo preparations (and think tissue slices)
is super smoothdue to our 20 nm resolution and unique mechanical design.
Ultra stability ensures that once you reach a target cell, you'll stay there -- drift
is as low as 1 micron over two hours.
Hunt for cells, or move to an area of interest, using predictable linear motion with selectable
speeds from 0.1 µm/s to 4 mm/s.
Within Scientifica's LinLab software -- movement speed and step size can be set and commands
pre-programmed. Repeatable memory positions can be stored on the PatchPad and Control
Cube, or on the PC.
Available in either one or three axes of movement, the modular design can be mounted onto most
major manufacturer's Stereotaxic frames as standard.
Alternatively, attach the single axis IVM 1000 onto a manual manipulator (such as Scientifica's
LBM-7). So you can choose the ideal angle for the critical approach axis; allowing precise
electrode positioning.
