[Git Merge 2013]
You may call me Simon if you wish. I am Russian.
I live in Prague and I represent here a company called Timate.
Have here go, we've released our product called SubGit.
Does anyone know about SubGit here? Thank you.
Thank you very much. Okay, the next question:
Does anyone use subversion here, I mean daily?
Yeah? Cool.
Because my topic is for you, basically.
SubGit is a tool that allows one to build bidirectional
read/write meter of subversion in Git repositories.
To show you how it works, I have a live demo here.
I have subversion repository at SVN repo directory,
and I just hit one command, "subgit install," into this repository.
Here's how it works.
This repository already has 50 revisions, so it...Oh, sorry.
Oh, cool. At least somehow-- I have just hit the command
"subgit install," and basically it just adds a few hooks into repository
"subversion-git," and after that I can commit into subversion repository.
I can push commits to Git repository. They all get synchronized.
So I have here a working copy, subversion working copy,
and a Git working tree I have just cloned. Let's modify some file here.
From subversion site, just add new line here, and commit
this modification. I have just committed it.
That's it. This commit gets translated to Git repository,
and I can fetch this modification here, this.
New line on Git site. I can create a new branch,
like "foo," "doo," I don't know, and push this branch into central
Git repository, like this.
I can update my working copy and see that it's here. Sorry.
One more time. Here it is. I have created branch from trunk
at revision 32, so here's how it works.
If you want to know more about SubGit, please visit our site,

I would be really glad to see you.
Thank you very much. [applause]
