Asking what color a black mamba is may sound like a silly question since most animals that
have a color in their name is because the animals fur, skin, feathers or scales are
that color. This is not the case with the black mamba.
These are a brownish or olive gray. But, when a black mamba feels threatened, it will open
its mouth up wide and the inside of the mouth is black. Yeah, the scariest part of the snake
is black and that is where the name comes from.
So, there is our slithery fact. We hope you will subscribe for more animal facts and quizzes.
