We have our chicken marinating and our rice cooling. So, now we're going to make our cooking
stock for our chicken. So, we're going to take oyster sauces. This is going to be very
thick. We're going to measure out two table spoons of this.
We're going to add a tablespoon of sherry. We're doing this along with our marinade so
that we have a nice sweet flavor to our chicken. We're going to add a table spoon of sesame
oil.
Add a tablespoon of water. Before we add anything else we're going to go ahead and stir this
to break up our oyster sauce and also blend our oil in here. So, this should have a nice
nutty little flavor to it. We're going to go ahead and add a half a tablespoon of sugar.
Then we're going to go ahead and add a tablespoon of cornstarch. We've added cornstarch to both
what the chicken is marinating in and then our cooking stock so this will get thick very
easily. We are going to just keep stirring until our cornstarch has dissolved.
