We all know we need to eat more fruits and vegetables for our health every day, but we
just don't all commit to that. I'm here today to convince you to make eating fruit and vegetables
a priority. The antioxidants in fruits and vegetables help our bodies fight diseases
and maintain health, so how much do you need, and what's the serving? Well, for most fresh
fruits, it's just one fresh fruit, three quarters of a cup of blueberries or blackberries, three
ounces of grapes is a serving, about 17 grapes, two tablespoons of any dried fruits like raisins,
or half a cup of orange juice. For veggies, a serving is a half cup cook, or one cup raw
vegetables. How do you incorporate more fruits and vegetables in to your day? Add some berries
or raisins to your oatmeal at breakfast, choose a fresh fruit for your morning snack, include
some fresh strawberries and lots of veggies in your salad at lunch.
Maybe top your yoghurt with some berries for the afternoon and enjoy some raw vegetables
with hummus for snack as well. Fitting in more fruit and vegetables in your diet maybe
the easiest and best way to protect your health.
