We often like celebrating birthday or marriage anniversary by cutting cake.
Cake is easily available in markets but homemade cake is more tempting and can be prepared easily.
Today we will make eggless chocolate sponge cake.
Let’s see what all ingredients are required for making chocolate cake.
Maida - 2 cup
Butter - ½ cup
Powdered sugar - ½ cup
Cocoa powder - ½ cup
Milk - 1 cup
Condensed milk - ½ cup
Baking powder - 1.5 tsp
Baking soda - ½ tsp
For making eggless sponge cake firstly knead dough.
For making eggless sponge cake firstly, Add baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and mix really well.
Strain the mixture twice in a sieve.
Take slightly melted butter in a bowl.
Add powdered sugar and whisk nicely.
Also add condensed milk.
Mixture has become fluffy, now add little amount of milk into it.
Now add maida-cocoa powder and mix well.
Add more milk.
Add rest of the mixture and milk.
Stir until batter becomes smooth.
Now grease the container with butter.
Grease the butter paper as well and place it in container.
Pour the batter in container.
Tap the container on surface so that batter flattens ups.
Preheat oven at 180 degree centigrade and place the container at middle rack for baking.
Set the oven timer at 180 degree centigrade for 25 minutes.
Check the cake. It has become brown.
Take it out from oven.
If the cake is not ready in 25 minutes then bake it for 10 minutes on 170 degree centigrade.
Insert a knife in cake and it should some out clean which shows cake is ready.
Now let the cake get frigid and take it out from container.
For this run knife like this around the container.
Place a plate on top of the container and flip it.
Tap the container like this and take it out.
Appetizing eggless sponge cake is ready.
Store this cake for 10-12 days in refrigerator and enjoy eating.
