What's up? This is Andy with MyTechMethods.com. In this video I'll show you how to transfer
text messages from your iPhone to your computer. Okay if you ever need to copy or backup your
iPhone text messages to your computer, whether it's a PC or a Mac, you can do that with a
cool little program called Backup Trans iPhone SMS Backup and Restore. And if you click the
link for your operating system in the video description below that will start an instant
download of this program. And you can try it out for free to transfer your text messages
from your iPhone to your computer. And this application is 100% safe to use. Once you
have this application downloaded, go ahead and run and install the program on your computer
then open it up. Now connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable. It'll recognize
your iPhone. Then you have three things to do before you can transfer the text messages
from the iPhone to your computer. First if you have your iPhone protected with a pass
code you need to put your pass code in right now on your iPhone so it's unlocked. And then
make sure you turn off iCloud backup on your iPhone and disable iPhone backup encryption
iTunes. So once you've done those three things just click OK. Now after it finishes backing
up your iPhone to your computer you can see all your text messages that are currently
on your iPhone that you can transfer to your Mac or PC. So if you click the arrow next
to your iPhone device here in the left-hand side column it gives you a list of all your
conversations, your text message conversations that you can back up. So if I want to transfer
text messages from a certain conversation with a person I can click on that person's
name to choose that conversation and then choose the text messages that I want to copy
to my computer. I'll just select the top three here, and then I can go up here and choose
"Backup SMS to local database" or I can go ahead and just export it to a file. I'm going
to choose "Export SMS to file." Okay and here you can give it a name. I'll just name it
Todd convo. Here you can choose the file type that you want to save it as. If you want to
save it as a Word document you can. So I'll just choose Word document and then click save.
Okay it successfully exported three text messages to my computer in this folder path right here.
So I'll go to that folder now. Okay this document has the text messages in it so I'll open it
up. Alright and there are the text messages right there in my word document on my computer.
So that's how you transfer text messages from your iPhone to your computer. It works with
Windows and Mac. Again the links are in the video description below. So download that
application and give it a try. Thank you so much for watching. If this video helped you
out make sure you give it a thumbs-up and subscribe to my channel. I would love to have
