Hey, my name is Erin, and I'm a former US Junior Olympics certified swim coach and personal
trainer, and fitness is my passion. So I cannot wait to share it with you guys.
Now, this is a challenging move, so if you don't feel you're up to it, wait until you're
strong enough. It requires a lot of core strength, and, you know, you need to have pretty good
balance. So you're going to come onto your ball, walk yourself out like so. Tuck your
knees up under you, and you're just going to roll the ball back, and tuck it under.
So this is a great workout for your core. Also working out your upper body a bit. And
when you're done, come back to the ball. Grab your medicine ball. All right, find a comfortable
position on your ball. Make sure that your back is supported. And you're going to bring
your medicine ball back and up. So you're sort of coming up into a seated position.
What's really cool is that if you have a partner, they can stand here, and you can throw that
ball to them. They can throw it back to you, you catch it. Bring the ball back over your
head, sit up. Throw it back to them. So that's a nice thing to do if you've got a workout
buddy.
At the end of your abs workout, by the way, your abs will be burning by now, if you're
doing this correctly. You're doing each exercise to failure. That means the lactic acid is
pushing through your ab muscles, and you feel like you just can't do any more. Lay back
on your ball. Make sure your shoulders and neck are supported. And let your arms come
out to the side. Bring them to the back. And you can do a nice supported back bridge over
the ball, getting a nice stretch through the abs.
