Hey Youtube ! I'm going to show you how to put a Fisheye lens (or filters) on the Sony DSC Hx100v or 200.
This is my Sony DSC HX100v.
It films Full HD at 50p (or 60p for US), nice feature for skate filming.
First of all, you will need a tube adapter (link in the description).
It goes directly on the "Zoom ring" so that you can zoom in and out by rotating the tube (as you do without the tube).
The tube is divided in two pieces, it's juste an extension so that you can fully zoom in. Here I wiil just use it without the extension.
There are little screws to attach it to your camera, and the inside is made of tissue to protect from scratches.
You put in on your camera and you simply tie the screws with a tool (which is included with the tube adapter).
I bought what I needed on Digitaltoyshop.com, it has cost around 115€.
[Nothing important ... Showing the tube adapter box] -Link in the description-
With the tube adapter, you will need (obviously) a fisheye, this one is a Besel x0.3 Fisheye. -Link in the description-
Here it is ...
It is also divided in two pieces, one is a macro lens and you will need to two of them to use it as a fisheye. (the two pieces comes together)
Now that you've got the tube and the fisheye, you will finally need a 67mm to 58mm adapter ring. (the tube is a 67mm and my fisheye is a 58mm)
Well now you're done ! You've got a Fisheye for the Sony DSC HX 100v and 200v !
When you first turn it on, you will see on the corners the tube, just zoom in x2 if you are using 16/9 or x2.2 for 4/3.
The quality is as normal (very good), I'm very happy with it. I'm going to show you now some videos and photos that I did with this set up.
Be careful to not zoom in to x4 or more, because otherwise the zooming lens will block against the fisheye !
Ok so now I'm filming on my Hx100v, as you can see the tube is visible in the corners, so I will zoom in x2.
[Nothing important] I've disabled the Optic stabilization (I've switched it from Active to Standard). So know I will show you some photos...
Thanks for watching ! If you have questions or something to say, post it in the coments or on our facebook page ! :) Sorry if I did mistakes in the subtitles ...
