I'm Dr. Alan Swank. The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management
gives students leadership skills
and a greater understanding of how organizations function.
The curriculum explores the human side of managing organizations, including
management practices, fundamentals of leadership, group behavior,
organizational change, ethics, and interpersonal communication.
Many of our faculty members have real-life managerial and
leadership experience in the business world. And many of our students
do as well.
Personally, I have a doctorate in Organization, Management, and Leadership,
and I ran my own manufacturing firm for 23 years.
This kind of experience help students apply theory to practical application.
To delve further into a specific area, and to establish greater expertise,
students can choose to add a specialization to this degree program.
Ashford University's Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management
is an extremely versatile degree that teaches students skills they can use in a
multitude of environments throughout their lives.
It's a fantastic community that I'm proud to be a part of.
