Welcome to the activity on Bernoulli’s law. I’m Bonnie Murray and I’m Karen Ricks
your Education specialists and we’re going to connect NASA and Racing to give your students
real world application of the STEM topics in your curriculum.
You know Karen when you are traveling 200 MPH around a race track it’s important to understand
that faster moving air creates lower pressure. Air traveling around a curved surface speeds up
creating an area of low pressure and allowing the cars to be held down to the track.
Demonstrate this fact with these simple experiments. Visit the link to access the resource guide with
complete directions and materials list. Check back often for the release of new activates.
