The Data Miner tab allows you to crosstab data that you've collected using close-ended questions in your project.
For every crosstab that you select,
you will be able to view your data both in chart and table format.
To get started, select which variables you want to see on the X and Y-Axis of your chart.
If you're unsure of what variables to show on these axes,
just keep in mind the phrase "Y-Axis by X-Axis".
For example, if you want to view "Task Completion" by "Purpose of Visit",
then "Purpose of Visit" would go on the X-Axis,
and "Task Completion would go on the "Y-Axis".
As you can see,
the chart and table provided update automatically once you have made your selections.
The table provides you 2 different ways to view your data.
First, the "Percentages and Counts" view
gives you a quick look at the percentages and sample sizes for the cross-tab that you created.
The "Statistical" view provides a more statistical viewpoint for each item
like sample sizes and percentages,
while you can also view whether there is a statistically significant difference between this item
and the figure shown within the "Total" column of the table.
A green light indicates that the difference is statistically significant.
