>> DEBRA: If you’re worried the pasta’s gluten-free, the chicken’s free-range and
the vegetables are local and organic.
>> ROD: It’s not the food. I’ve just been eating a lot at cool restaurants recently
and I’m not exactly used to eating off plates.
>> DEBRA: Same here, I was actually hoping you wouldn’t notice.
>> ROD: It’s hard NOT to notice when you ONLY eat at cool restaurants.
>> DEBRA: Yesterday I ate a burger off a slab of granite.
>> ROD: Granite, you know I had chicken off natural stone.
>> DEBRA: Natural stone, this new place serves pasta off of carpet.
>> ROD: Carpet, the urban diner on fifth, they do breakfast on iPads.
>> DEBRA: iPads please, I went to that fusion place downtown, I ate a caesar salad off a
dog.
>> ROD: Dog, I had nachos off a dead ***.
>> DEBRA: Where was that?
>> ROD: Grandma’s house.
>> DEBRA: Wow.
>> ROD: She always does something interesting.
>> DEBRA: Impressive.
>> ROD: I’m not gonna eat this.
>> DEBRA: Me either.
[slurps wine sound]
>> DEBRA: We should go out to a cool restaurant!
