How to become self-disciplined, how to be come more disciplined and apply what's required
of you to achieve success in any area. You want to become more fit? You have to develop
a high level of self-discipline. You want to make more money? You've got to develop
self-discipline. You want to go a meditate more and become more spiritual? It requires
Self Discipline. Self Discipline is required in order to achieve success in any area. If
you want to acquire success you need self discipline and throughout my life I realised
that by doing things that's required of myself that other people wont do will enable me to
have success. Self-discipline is getting past yourself, getting past doing a specific task
that you don't want to do and doing it anyway. And I actually interviewed a friend of mine
recently it was kind of like a consultation. I asked him "do you feel like doing specific
tasks everyday, do you feel like applying certain things everyday, are you motivated?"
and he told me HECK NO! He told me that if you want to achieve success you have to do
the things that's required to achieve success even if you don't feel like doing it and when
he told me this I realised that, you know what... I cant beat myself up when I feel
like not doing something because I'm actually pushing myself forward to achieve success
and doing what's required that other people are not willing to do. And that's how you
reach higher levels of success that someone else, in whatever area it is, if you want
to increase your income, or have a fit body, its just doing the things that are required
that other people are not willing to do. And the more and more you do the better and better
results you are going to get and eventually it will be come habitual, it will become a
habit, you wont be able to stop yourself from doing it, that inner resistance will deplete
and you will be doing the things that's required, whether its pushing weight, exercising in
the gym, going on the tread mill or doing the tasks and the jobs that are required to
achieve financial success and becoming an entrepreneur or becoming a motivational speaker
or becoming a sports athlete or what ever it is that you want to achieve. Doing the
things that people will not do and doing it anyway regardless of how you feel in that
very moment is self-discipline. But how do you get past yourself, how do you just go
out and do it anyway? Well I don't have any special way of telling you this, but all I
do is I just I've in the frustration, I just live in the "argh got to do this task, you
know, I don't really want to go it but I'm just going to do it any way because I know
its going to help a lot of people" and I focus on the end result, that's all I do, I focus
on the vision i focus on the end result what's going to happen if I do this specific task,
focus on the end result, what is the end result. Is it more money? Is it the body that you
desire? Is it feeling more confident and having all the women you want in your life, or the
man you want in your life? Is it going out and being more connected with god? Is it going
out and being more intellectual, what is it, that you are wanting to obtain when your 'Why?"
becomes stronger than your frustration and your procrastination, you would do the tasks
that required anyway, that is self discipline for me and moving past yourself every time
you feel frustrated and doing it anyway no matter how you feel, that inner resistance
will automatically deplete over time and will automatically do it anyway.
