Make your battery last by using battery saver and other great tricks.

To begin touch the arrow icon from the start screen.
Then, scroll down and touch settings. Next, scroll down and select battery saver.
Battery saver is a feature that, when turned on, allows your device to turn off background applications,
email and calendar updates, and live tile updates when your battery is low.
Touch the checkbox next to ?turn on battery saver now, until next charge?
to use battery saver until you charge your device again.
Touch the back key.
Another way to save battery life is to adjust some display settings.
First, touch lock and wallpaper.
Touch the drop down box below ?screen times out after? and select a shorter interval
to reduce the time your screen is active.
Next, touch the back key. Then, scroll down and touch brightness.
You can use the slider next to Automatically Adjust to turn on and off this feature.
Or use the drop down box below and select a lower level.
Touch the back key. The frequency that your accounts sync data and contacts can also drain your battery.
To lower this frequency touch email and accounts. Then, select the account you wish to edit.
For this example we will use our Gmail account. Touch the drop down box under download new content.
Next, select a less frequent setting like hourly or manually. Also, be aware of how frequently you visit the people application.
Each time you visit, your contacts and feeds are automatically synced and updated.
