Hey Chef Kendra Here and today we're going to hook up a simple chicken and rice meal.
We're going to season both sides of some boneless skinless chicken thighs with salt and pepper
then we're going to get them in a pan, with some oil and brown both sides. The link to
this recipe can be found in the about section below. OK, guys we have some homemade cream
of chicken soup, of course you can you use the can stuff. It's your kitchen, do what
you want. We are looking for some good color on the chicken but we're not cooking it all
the way though at this point. However, browning the chicken adds lots of really good flavor
so don't skip this step guys. After we've browned both sides we're going to remove it
to a plate and set it aside for a moment. If you like you can wipe out the pan to get
rid of the rest of the oil if you want. OK guys, now in goes our soup and some water.
No, it doesn't look all that appetizing at the moment, but stay with me here. Set the
heat to low. We're just going to stir it around a bit and add our black pepper, then we're
going to toss in our paprika, next in goes a little salt, and we're going to stir that
around Now we're going to add our left over rice, you can use fresh rice, but I had leftover
rice on hand. It seems like I've always have some leftover rice lying around. Now we're
just going to stir that in, now we going to toss in our green beans. Actually you can
use broccoli if you feel like, I mean, it's really good that way too. So you really can't
go wrong. Now we're going to add a little more water. Once that's done were going to
do a little more stirring. This is really a comforting dish and it's comes together
so quick. I really like this meal. Now we're going to give it a taste. Always taste your
food guys; you want to serve your family and friends well-seasoned food. Alright, there's
nothing left to do but add back the chicken back in. Cover and let it cook for 6-10 minutes.
Alright, if you feel you are getting something from my channel please share my videos. I'll
see you on Tuesday, Chef Kendra is out. Peace.
