Energy Micros Leopard and Giant Gecko microcontrollers include a USB controller
with Device, Host and on-the-go support.
To get started with a USB project, simply click "Examples" within Simplicity Studio.
This gives you a list of ready made code examples and source code.
This includes Human Interface, Mass Storage, Communication Class and Vendor Unique device examples.
Here we are choosing the vendor unique device example, and opening the source files with our compiler.
After installing the driver, we can then attach the kit to the computers USB port.
We are now able to control the behavior of the LEDs directly from the computer.
Visit energymicro.com to learn more about our Giant Gecko devices.
Here you can also download Simplicity Studio for free and access all available USB demos.
