Each question displays how many votes, how many answers and how many times the
post has been seen.
Many views means lots of interest so keep up the good work!
If you've got a question just type it in. As you type, similar questions will be
displayed and you may find that your issue has already been addressed.
It's not true that a job worth doing is a job worth doing twice,
so we've streamlined the time and steps it takes to get good information.
If your question is new, fill out the details and then add tags.
Tags are required because they describe the question topic and
enable question filtering. At the very least, choose the name of the product your
posting about.
Thanks to users like you, Spirent Forums are very active
and questions will start getting views almost immediately, with answers
often minutes or hours. Do your part by asking and answering questions,
voting and accepting answers. for each question the answer box
indicates the number and status of the answers. Gold indicates that the question
has not yet received a response.
To contribute to the community, take a look at the question and post an answer
You may answer questions even if you're not sure your answer is complete or
correct.
The Spirent Forums are not about waiting for an expert,
they're about sharing your knowledge gained through experience. Your
participation is rewarded with karma points, badges, and everyone's gratitude.
Blue indicates that the question has received responses.
Sometimes a question will receive many answers or comments to answers as the
original question
or answers are evaluated by the community. Green is what we all want!
The question's originator does this by accepting answers with a click
on the green checkmark--it's like an electronic thank you to the user who
replied!
Don't forget to vote on questions and answers. If a question pertains to you,
upvote it. Answers that are off topic should be downvoted.
